Ice Palace

There is a Ice Palace in a
Remote and northern place,
Around it the snow and wind blow
Swirling eddies, a restless whiteness
Fall and rest on statues of ice,
The pureness of a void white covers every object with a solemn quiteness,
Closed in this place we are times prisoner and the howling of wolves
Under a canopy of a few sheltering
Bare and lifeless trees
Echoes our sadness.
Against this cold Ice Palace,
Gales of strong northern currents
Cast themselves up resonating
Like the tide as pounds it's waves.
O bid time to stay forever with you!
My pleas fall as words on empty blank paper, I hold a quill between my fingers and let ink pour emotions
From my heart and soul on this void expanse,
My love we are never apart yet never together, ever looking ever waiting
In our Ice Palace.
