Star-spangled Jingle

Melita Catalina Warren 1949 (Kansas)

Why wage war if peace we can restore?
We vow to change as tars stream.

Life must mean so much more.. . . .
Peace stands an ever possible dream.

Let us overcome all we deplore. . .
Fight for that which we esteem.

Justice, liberty, we ever adore. . .
For this the oppressed yet scream.

Remember the red, white, and blue,
To progeny all over the world,
For she stands for the good and true -
Let Old Glory be proudly unfurled.
