Such Suffering

Such suffering within can only be revealed,
By crying out for help and being willing not to conceal.

The fear and pain inside of thee.
The soul can't hide, what the eyes can't see.

Fear and pain can bring quick death--
By piercing and tearing the inner self.

The path to go--more clearly the way.
Draws closer to me as you humbly pray.

The answer before thee--hard to believe or accept.
How one could love such a pitiful, worthless mess.

Do you warranty mercy, grace and reprieve?
Lord Jesus said yes as he hung on the cross.
He suffered and died to give us life, not loss.

There is hope for such suffering, such sorrow you see.
Lord Jesus died for you and for me
