Harmony
Stacy Sapp Dortch 1969 (Millen)
United means one race
Undivided means no space
for hate or to fight.
Everyone is treated right.
As one means the Truth
Full of compassion
means I love,
the true you.
May not agree
with what you do.
Empathizing means I care
If you cry,
I wept a tear.
I don't want
to cause you fear.
Socializing means I share
My very best heart
with good words
I'll listen until you feel
that what you say is heard.
Apologizing means please spare
and forgive my weakness.
Discern the peace in the air
Then we are rising
and soaring higher
to new heights.
We ascend from Death Valley
to Heavenly Mountain
and join together to say
Praise God to see this Harmonious Day!
