Dusk
The shadows grow long
As the sun falls from the sky
So tranquil and serene
All you can do is sigh
But hold sight of that setting sun
The golds and crimsons on clouds undersides
A rolling landscape above us
Almost like Heaven before our eyes
Slowly the light changes minute by minute
Even second to second
Swiftly twilight awakens
As the darkness beckons
The night comes to life
Owls, crickets, and critters unknown too
Songs of nocturnal night
Like an orchestra they commence on cue
And one by one
Stars play peek-a-boo
All vying for romantic wishes
From me and you
