Fate Compli

Listless twilight time of life
where passion flames recede.

Fading water colored thoughts
of plans & hopes & deeds.

Bank the fire! Night approaches!
Slumber calls the deep.

Climb high the cluttered gentle dreams;
in them you find your sleep.
