Second ME Syndrome

   Second Me Syndrome

    1. I could give you my kidney,

While you can't even blink to save my life.

I did everything to keep you, please,

You ended it all with my knife.

Crack, crack, crack, I drop to the floor,

Seeing your lies for the last time.

    2. Guilt. "She has me by the neck," stuffed doll.

    So many bones broken.

'Cause I refused to call her "mom."

Guilt. She is the kindest, not at all

Willing to teach me several life lessons, if I don't run.

Second me syndrome, best to be known.

    3. Left me in public, tossed me like trash.

Held my life like paper, burnt away in your dreams' pyre.

Said you love me when convenient, paid you when I acted disobedient.

My thoughts siren by your voice, I rather let them freeze in your eyes.

    4. Sing to me in the dark, evil glinting in your pretty eyes.

Bring me closer with an arm, choke me with your fingers in my mouth.

They heard you, they will find you.

Kill me and throw my body. I will be back, and this time, you won't own me.

    5. Found in the dumpster again,

    "Welcome back, Syndrome."

Picking me up, you cradle me in your arms.

    Guilt. Take me home.

    6. "Am I not enough for you?"

Let me whore around and get you a kid.

    She will keep your legacy.

    Just love me.

    Mom!
