Crossing The Street

when for much my love of happy heart

fragments of sunlight stuck in my teeth
like a lover's fingers tracing my jaw

world paparazzi my love green

the way a bruise blooms on tender skin
exposing the tenderest parts of me

for warm sun

i crave the heat of your absence
like a junkie searching for his next fix

hill as much, much that small carousel

spinning in the silence of my mind
a merry-go-round of what could've been

in the unfilled of my casket
a tiny ferris wheel turns
where love and longing are the only rides
