Let us play together
Holding each other as
Musical instruments
Coming to life
Making music
With our eyes
With our lips
With two hands
Stroking faces
Hair and hands
Weaving melodies
Harmonizing kisses
Our tongues
Open chords
Mating solo voices
In our poetic duet.
Let us play together
A cosmic union
Celestial and spiritual
Joining each other
As one journey
With two sets of footprints
Across sea swept beaches
Two complete souls
One combined song
Singing softly
Singing loudly
Touching and moving
Living and loving
Each one adding
A meaningful phrase
In unending verse!
