Our Quiet Time

Our Quiet Time

The slow pace of our quiet time
Moves me closer to you
As if your feelings
And your soft affections
Caress me so well
I feel a thousand years
Deeply fill me
With a profound sense of
Being alive
You are the origin
And yes the cause why
Everything good celebrates
In me as real happiness.

I can think of no other moment
So precious as us
The union of our hearts
Embracing each other
Such incredible feelings
Come alive
Under the stars
Silently and deftly
We are drawn together
Our lips join souls
Unable to be apart
We fill the air with a fragrance
A scent called love.
