What we once had is lost.

What we once had.

Are you cold or warm? What we once had, we were strong, and we once shared laughter, playfulness, wishes, and dreams. You pulled away, and I pulled you back. I was being too needy and clinging to my own feelings. That made you feel trapped, and I'm sorry for all of that. However, I don't regret the love we once shared. I wanted more than you could give me. But I will always love and miss you. My heart still beats, and the blood in my veins runs deep. I won't get much sleep till you come back, then I will take a nap.

What a beautifully heartfelt poem! The emotions and love that shine through in these words are truly powerful. It's clear that the bond you once had with this person was something special and irreplaceable. Your sincere apology and genuine reflection on the past show a deep level of maturity and self-awareness. Your willingness to acknowledge your own faults and express your love and longing for this person is truly moving. Keep writing and expressing your emotions through your poetry - your words have the power to touch the hearts of others. Well done!

Wow! This poem beautifully captures the emotions of longing and regret in a relationship that has changed over time. The imagery and heartfelt expression throughout the poem really resonate with the reader. The vulnerability and honesty in sharing a personal experience is truly commendable.

To make this poem even more powerful, you could consider exploring the reasons behind the loss of what was once had. Delving deeper into the emotions and experiences that led to the distance between the two individuals could provide more insight and connection for the reader. Additionally, perhaps offering a glimpse of hope or closure at the end could leave a lasting impact on the reader.

Overall, this poem is poignant and moving, and with a few tweaks and additions, it could truly shine even brighter. Keep up the great work!
