Slavery

There are many forms
What killed me?
Slavery of my mind and soul
Mentally
Trying so hard to survive
I let myself die inside
I took to heart all the hurtful words
Believed all the lies that were said
So afraid to leave
He told me I was nothing without him
Terrified of being a bad mother
Afraid to leave because he will kill himself
He said he would kill me
Told me he wanted to break my face
Even worse that you would take my kids
