Family

Amanda K lessig (Sunshine) 1987

Once so close together
Now so far apart
Our past is filled with many smiles
Also with many broken hearts
What used to be our strong foundation
Has now been torn and drifted
Speaking ill because of all the pain
Has now numbed our conscience
Leaving us conflicted
What happened to our family?
Pieces scattered like the continents
Is this the way it must be?
Or could I wake and it all be a dream....
