Profane

Robert loughran 1962 (Ireland)

The wise are buried with the foolish,
the sacred with the profane.
Our daily diet of random shit,
treats treasure and trash the same

A few nuggets of wisdom,
deserving of assimilation,
swamped by medias bombardment
of vacuous stimulation..

We don’t have to reward superficiality because society does.
