Sweet Cacophony

The sweet cacophony of Wrens and Robins

betraying their April return, staking

clamorous claims in yet barren branches,

squirrels dig holes retrieving their stores, while

bushes are budding, grass returns green.

 

Walking down this lane all lined

with cherry trees, I marvel that nature

knows what it needs and does not care

what it doesn’t.
