High School Lament

I saw you every day at school,
But never had the nerve
To introduce myself as cool
And so, I just observed.

It did not take too long for you
To see my silent plan
And yet I never saw you do
A mean thing to your fan.

You never told me go away
Or please leave me alone.
Perhaps you knew the shyness way
And left me on my own.
