Jesus

He is my Savior and my Lord;
My ever-present shield and sword.,
Especially against the foe
That every Christian comes to know.
He loves me every night and day
And always helps me know the Way
With gentle, humble, tender care,
Which I know will always be there.
So, I will praise my Lord and King
For hope and peace and everything,
Though none of it do I deserve
Which makes me more inclined to serve.
