IN OUR SHOES...

Barry Green Jr 1973 (Florida)

IN OUR SHOES…

Tell the world a story
Different from all they heard
Tell of a God, that left glory
To give the world His Word

This is the Good News,
 We're all called to share
Jesus walked in our shoes
And our sins He choose to bare

Sit down, listen as I tell a tale
That's you've just got to receive
Hes ransomed your soul from Hell,
Now you've just got to believe

How beautiful are the feet
Of those who bring Good News
Come my brothers, and bow to meet
The God who wore our shoes

Now I'm gonna sing you a new song
I'm gonna make a joyful noise
By Grace are the weak made strong
And our sorrows turned into joys

Tell the world how He was annointted
To bare Salvation for us all
For our repemption He was appointed
To snatch us as we Fall

Tell the World a story
Bring them all the News
Give to God the Glory
For walking in our shoes
AMEN

How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, “Your God reigns!” Isaiah52 7
