HEY LORD

Barry Green Jr 1973 (Florida)

HEY LORD

Hey Lord, You know it been a while
Since I bowed before Your Throne
I know You've walked every mile
Never a moment I've been alone

Long since I've received Your Grace
When I heard You died for me
I long, my Savior, to seek Your face
As You set my captive soul free

In the cool of the evening I look above
I await to see You coming again
I see Your love and I learn to Love
Oh my Savior, You call me Your friend!

I fall down here before You
I give You my weakness and shame
Raise me up, Lord, make me new
May I be known only by Your Name

Teach me ever more or Your ways
May I reflect Your Glory evermore
I will follow You the the rest of my days
Till You call me to Heaven's Shore

Hey Lord, let me always turn to You
I'm Yours forever, all my Days
Hey Lord my Faith carries me through
And I acknowledge You in all my ways

Hey Lord…

AMEN
