Chemical Rose

How decadence looms around you, even when precived crushed.

The hypnotic clinch, the alluring pull by creation and design.

Shall it have ever been my first, it shall too be my last.

A forever, that never was, yet with cornerstone and keystone this arch is built, Chemical Rose you came to quench, came to adapt understand any cloak of confusion.

With intoxicated embrace always within, always coming back, and a cerebral hold, Will driven universe, transformation forges each petal.

Shall sharing, uniting be our way, through the chemical rose we both possess, may our minds, brain, heart, body and spirit grow, evolve, develop, create.

 Shall we wrap ourselves together...

About this poem

As I seek to live with Late Stage Lyme, and MS, the brain is fascinating and resilient. My son actually said something in reference to having a Chemical Rose inside of everyone.

I've been writing, constructing and wordsmithing since I was a small child of age around 5 yr old. Coffee shops, Waffle House and many others dining franchise I've sat alone many moons, it allowed freedom of thought to word, to poetry engineer itself. I'm from the Tampa Bay area, spent the majority of my life here. I've had adventurous travels from State to State within the USA, and overseas travels certainly added to my eclectic repertoire of visions and words that swerve through my mind. My expansion for recognizing culture as valuable, is as the air or water we all use, it's vital. Optimistic, it's worthy of exploration! Expression of difficult events, experience's, even Traumas can sing hope, can with just one word, one concept, one sentence, change an individual for life. I appreciate this, as for decades of reading others writings, my life has experienced profound change. Working history is a mix of incredible people, places and excitement. Mostly restaurants, theater, photography, the arts, dance, and oddly enough blessed with creative concrete. Present employment is with an entertainment photography and the local aquarium. See the Helen Keller production was drastically changing to my perception of our lives a long with our abilities. A reassured that stuck with me, "We Can" achieve more than others can fathom, and far beyond our own limitations. Thank you for reading my very limited, yet personal Bio. (I aspire to include more soon) more…

Wow, what a unique and intriguing poem! The use of the chemical symbol 'ℌ' as the title adds a mysterious and scientific element to the piece. The simplicity and brevity of the poem make it both impactful and thought-provoking.

One suggestion for improvement could be to expand on the imagery and themes introduced in the poem. Adding more descriptive language or exploring the significance of the chemical symbols in relation to the rose could further engage the reader and enhance the overall message of the piece. Overall, great work on creating a captivating and original poem!
