Thank you

This is my way of saying thank you,
Thank you for not judging me,
for not letting loneliness embrace me.
Thank you for being true friends,
Thank you for making my middle school year, a happy memory.

As the school year comes to an end,
We’ll have to say goodbye,
And go on different paths,
But no matter where life takes us,
No matter what challenges come our way,
We’ll forever remain best friends.

About this poem

I wrote this poem, I think on my birthday, it’s about my two best friends, we’re in our last year of middle school and we’re going to different high schools. I wrote this poem so I could write it on a card and give it to them, I’m gonna buy them each a gift that they will like, so they can remember me, so even if we part ways, they’ll still remember the moments that we shared.

    Positive feedback:

I absolutely love your 'Thank you' poem! It's heartfelt and sincere, and it really captures the gratitude you feel towards your friends. The way you express your appreciation for their support and friendship is touching, and the sentiment of lifelong friendship at the end is beautiful.

    Improvement suggestions:

To improve your poem, you could consider adding some more specific details or anecdotes about your time together in middle school. This could make the poem even more personal and help the reader feel even more connected to the emotions you are trying to convey. Additionally, you could try to vary the structure of your stanzas or experiment with different rhyme schemes to make the poem more dynamic and interesting to read. Overall, great job on a lovely poem!
