Letter to Myself

I know I never loved you
Never loved myself true
I apologize for all the times
I felt you break and ignored you
Believing the phonies that I was adored, cherished, loved
Letting the negative destroy me
Killing off my soul
Knowing how to love me
Was something I could only dream of
Not understanding my love
Was already written in the stars above
At my lowest I can feel his hug
When I cry he wipes the tears from my eyes
Teaching me not to believe all the hateful lies
Renewing my heart and making me whole inside
The missing piece of my life has now been found
When I fall he reminds I am still heaven bound
I remember who I am and put back on my crown

I could care less alanwansea18…lol…It is not important to me…And I do like reading your poems…I am just not much into commenting nor rating others work…IF you believe your poems are good to you…Why should you care about what others think of them?Couldn’t that be considered a sign of insecurity and a lack of confidence in your self and your abilities?
