Darkness and Light

I've felt the hand of hatred, slap me across the face, I've handled emotional attacks with only finesse and grace.

I've felt the sting of rejection, burn from head to toe, I've handled the loneliness, learning from my foe.

I've felt the weight of despair and the agony rejection hanging heavy on my heart.
I've felt the deepest pain of a loved one stabbing deep and sharp.

like a deadly cancer spreading, I've handled the mockery by listening to what others said. Believing lies placed into my head.

I have felt the hand of God, touch my life within, I am only disappointed if I don't spend time with Him. Yet the enemy tries to stop me to no end.

Lonely is a single traveler
on a dark and winding road.
Lonely is the burden of carrying a heavy load.

Lonely is the sound
of an infant who sadly cries in vain, and lonely is his addict parents shoot poison in their vein.

Being thought of as lonely and on the brink of disaster upon my God is which stand. Keep the faith, He's a friend and when my day comes I will see you again.

God is the light in the darkness, He is forever, faithful, and kind. Reach for him and the way out of darkness you will find.
