Golden Splendor

Gold is considered to be so precious
Because it is rare and hard to find.
It’s beauty is the stuff of legend,
A gift of splendor and glorious shine.

How appropriate that gold is the symbol
For 50 years of marriage and love.
The years that you have spent together
Have been a precious gift from Heaven above.

Nothing can tarnish your lasting love;
After 50 years, you are solid gold.
Your devotion shines as you go through the years,
With each other to love and to hold.

A partnership like yours is rare;
50 years you’ve been together.
You’ve always been a loving team,
In sunny and stormy weather.

For 50 years, you’ve been the ones
Who showed us how to live.
Your marriage demonstrates it best,
How to love and how to give.

May God Always Bless you both
For many more anniversaries and years
To you both, we raise our glasses,
And wish you countless blessings and cheers!
