BE STILL...AND REJOICE!

BE STILL..AND REJOICE

Be still…be still and hear My Voice
Child, I'll carry you and you'll learn how
Be still, and I'll cause tears to rejoice
I've got you, I've got you here and now

I've seen the pain you feel, I see
I've walked beside you all the way
Be still, come here now to me
Watch how I answer what you pray

In the morning, you heart was broke
Be still, I'll take you're burden away
Listen, it's in every word I ever spoke
Watch how I answer what you pray

I saw, you struggle just to hold on
As your World weighed you down
Though darkness strangles the dawn
Your answer is coming right around

Be still, and listen now to my Voice
Sshh child, I've not ever stepped away
Now stand up, let the world see you rejoice!
As My Grace rushes in even as you pray

Be still…, you can hear Me still
Rest easy, I hold you in my hand
Be still… and listen now for my will
Rejoice child, as I help you to stand
Amen

About this poem

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:4-7
