Black and White
Willie Carter 1968 (South Carolina)
Black and white,
they’re so inseparable.
Black,
as the deepest of seas.
White,
as water plunging down a waterfall.
Each is the other,
but in stages.
Each supports some matter of life,
in all it's phases.
So remember,
we are all each within the other,
my Brothers,
and nothing is different, because of the
colors.
