From Death to Victory

My eyes sag from the deep torments of my heart’s cry’s. My soul’s the feeling of being hit hard in
the stomach, with the unanswered question…
“Why?!”

I awkwardly ducked… As the Shadow of Death  swung his fist, and death pierced my shoulder… why I didn’t die the Death of deaths, is not a coincidence, and,
it just couldn’t have been just my luck!

Dark images immediately sprang upon me, ripping into my mind and my spine. They greedily grabbed a hold and pulled ‘til I knew they’d snap! They disemboweled the strings of all my hopes and dreams, and they did it
with a Lust filled glee… How could I have ever have imagined, that they could even be called mine?!

Finally stripped naked, to my shame, my soul lay there maimed, with insides being splashed asunder… They sang as they danced around my bruised, desolated head, A song of their rewarded plunder. They laughed as they said, because it was my eyes that they read…
“This was to you, a greeting from Down Under!”

Suddenly, a warm, unfamiliar Light stole in near the end of my defeated plight… on my way to embrace the sweet seduction of my looming death… If it had not been for then, when there was illuminated sin, I would not have passed this test.

That glorious shimmering light, pierced them dark images with a surging might... they exploded with a sulfuric cry.

The motion was slow, as impacts of sparks flew high…
Now I can see the reasons of “Why?”

What it means to be free, was only a dream, to me…
A fantasy comes true as those shackles fell to the ground. I just did not know!  How could I know?!…
That it was in Jesus where my salvation and deliverance would be found?!
