The Keyhole

JESUS BETANCOURT 1955 (New York)

Looking through the narrow passage
Skeleton key entry through the lock on the door
Viewed an image
Of a body lying on the floor

Loud noises led me to spy on
After hearing shouting and screaming
Following the sound of a gun
Wishing I was dreaming

Embarrassingly surmised
Prone position body was watching loud television
Mistakenly realized
Spying through the keyhole was a privacy invasion
