The Flood

Two by two they walk up the ramp
Peaceful, loving calm
They have not fear
All is well
For though the storm is fierce
They know they will be safe
Their Lord is by their side

About this poem

I thought about the faith the animals had to have at the time of the flood. They all went up into the ark trusting they would be safe. It occurred to me how much better off we would be if we too could just trust G-d to keep us safe
