Aphrodities

Ax.Barajas 1980 (Illinois)

Eyes of the ocean blue.
Born among the waves, so pure.
Hair soft as ivory mist.

Beauty flows out of you like a
raging tide.

Oh! Aphrodities you drive a man
insane. From the locks in your hair.

To your skin like porcelain. Made
perfect from the hands of time.
Enchanting you are, make man soul
wonder.

Sun's rays glow through your golden
hair. Smell of juniper breeze.

Oh! Aphrodities your smile glows like
a crescent moon across the sapphire sky.
Aphrodities the look from your eyes cast
a spell.

Through the pages of time your name will forever remain. The waves that crash against these ocean shores will call out your name.

Through ocean pearls and golden trails
stretched across the ocean blue.
Heaven and earth are one cause of you.

About this poem

I wrote this because I like Greek mythology and folk lore myth. Also inspired by Sandro Botticells master piece The birth of Venus, also known as Aphrodities.
