Whispers in the Snow

While walking in a forest as
The snow was coming down,
I saw the sights a forest has
And even heard a sound.

It sounded like a whisper in
The trees at first, although
It was real hard to hear within
The crunching of the snow.

I stopped to listen better and
That's when I heard once more
The whispering of snow that lands
On trees, but just before

I started walking I then heard
The snow was whispering
Some secrets to the wind that slurred
As I was listening.

The wind blew harder telling me
To go away until
The whispering in every tree
Was magically fulfilled.
