Nightfall

Pelican spout on the rocky plymouth
White plumage fading silver of feathers
A dough of cotton tuffs in the ciel
Turned to grey tinged sea of blue, rabbit's hat
As day glides down crystal balistades, wistful
Onward we row our boat, crowds of gulls blanket the shore
Ceiling of twilights, a sea-fairing low mist that twas upon us...créspuscule.

I picked 'blank verse' as the poem style as there were no other options. I'm not sure the style of the poem I wrote. It has a flow to it like music, like a brook.

About this poem

It tells a story in the beginning, of a pelican but that is not all. The story is what it could be like by the sea if we could see. Notes: Two french words were used: ciel and créspuscule. The translation for ciel was sky, créspuscule was nightfall. If perhaps it's wrong, my sincere apologies.
