Forevermore

Within the magic of an autumn day
Sun playing among the dappled leaves
Greens, golds, oranges and yellows,
I find the magic of you too, of us…
A day spent in joyful exploration
Of our mother earth and all her splendors,
Time spent just being together
For that is what our need was,
To be together,
Holding hands, kissing, and to just be,
We waltzed among the falling leaves
Drove the canyons of our forefathers
And stood beside the mighty waters
Holding one another, each afraid to let go…
Night came to quickly and in the dare for more
Came almost our discovery, laughable now,
But not so then…  and next…
The night brought us to our passion
And oh what passion we do share,
Making love to you fulfills me in ways
I never knew existed, until you…
To touch you and listen to all
Your body tells me,
To give unto you, to feel you
Physically yes, but so much more…
We do become as one,
Consuming our flesh and finding within
The pure hearts of love that enable us to be…
The kisses we share,
The looks so bare and honest,
All that we are and all we are yet to be
Lead us along the path
That will bring us to our destiny…
Driving away last night, I felt whole
And I felt loved and I knew that my love
Was there for me, but I too felt
Alone, and it took all I had to keep
From turning around and beg you
Let me stay…
In the morning light I see
And feel and smell you all over me
And I smile, remembering…
You are always with me
As I am always with you…
And in days from now
We will love again
Growing stronger together
Finding our way to be
As one
Forever more, my love…
