Beach Sonnet 1

Beach Sonnet One

Sea foam spills around her ankles and mine
As we embrace under moon and stars,
We are made of surf and sand,
Of stars and moon dust…

Melted together, two become one,
And I feel from within you,
Such a deep and desperate wanting
To please and be pleased.
To love and be loved…

Seek no further than this shore,
For upon it lay two lovers
Destined to be as one,
Look into my eyes and know,
This man is your love...
As you are mine...

Look into my soul as only you can,
Seek my heart, you will find it in the surf
Of your loving, tumbled and washed clean,
Whole and trembling full love for you.
Wade into me, as I wade into you…
