The red rose lying in the white snow.

The red rose was lying in the snow.

It's the darkest night of the year, and I can hear the church bells ring whenever you come near. As I watch the snowflakes come down, they never make a sound. They look like little pillows, and when they fall into my hand, I really don't understand. Then I looked through the snowflakes, and lying in the white snow was one pretty red rose. It's not frozen and still has it scent; it must be meant for me. How can that be? Then I saw your shadow standing by a tree. I can hear your whispers in the wind. You said I love you, and you had a grin.
