The closed book.
The closed book.
When you look at me, I'm a close book. But you have the key; do you really want to see it? So you take a dare and open it, and you see in the shadows a man with a blindfold on. Then you can see that he has a scar on his arm. He was sent here before the world began. He has no shoes, and there is blood dripping from his hands. He wants you to do everything he commands. Then you look again, and there's another man standing there with holes in his hands. So you go and take his hand. Now the book is closed, and you understand. Now is the time for you to make a stand.
About this poem
I don't usually do religious poems but this is about the book of Life. I do believe.
