Thais

Joshua Kinsel 1984 (San Antonio, tx)

Stems of blue goo, capped off in tan, mixed in a soup, with diced sliced ham,

In too deep, the wavy walls begin, it doesn't take long, the room starts to spin,

The spirits say hi, offering their help, I see the snake,my face starts to melt,

The demon is shy, sneaks while he hides, gods speak the loudest, silence inside,

I run to the edge, high looking down, just as I jump, I'm given the sound,

The music inside, only I hear, words in my mind, explaining my fear,

I've met all my demons, worked through the plan, rabbit holes explored, and bursts through the dam,

Now I see clearly, no scales on my eyes, walked through the vail, seen through the lies,

Lost, and found true love, my hate is now gone, ready for new life, music for my song,

The drum steady beats, my heart pumpin pure, bass feeds the treble, my mind will endure
