The dream in the stream.

I fall into a deep sleep. I'm standing in a cool stream as it flows between my legs. I can feel the smooth rocks under my toes as I walk along, and the sun's rays peak through the trees and warm my face. I look, and standing there on the bank is a lady in a bright gown with lace as she points out the way I must go and where I long to be. She is there to teach me. The cool summer breeze blows through my hair, and I don't dare ask her why. Then I wake up, and they pick me up and put me back in my wheelchair. There, I sit back in front of my window, staring out. I have many doubts about the dream in the stream, but I know it was all just a dream. But dreams do come true.
