Chaos Between Heart and Brain

Leahan 1995 (Jonesboro)

"My hearts a beating, but my minds a racing
One telling me to keep going, but the other is telling me I'm falling apart.
I get so caught up in thoughts that I block out what my heart is trying to say.
Then again there are days I get caught up in my feelings listen more to my heart then I do my mind.
It don't always come out the way I want it too.
At times it gets me in trouble or even hurt, but I get through it.
I may fall, I may break, but I always rise above it.
You can knock me down, but you can never keep me down.
I make mistakes I ain't afraid to admit it, but I learned from everyone of them I ever made.
Especially when it comes to listening to my heart or my mind, but that's why I started listening more to my gut.
That gut feeling you get is barely ever wrong.
Your heart can lead you on, your my can trick, but your gut is real to you.
