Real Me

Leahan 1995 (Jonesboro)

You think you know the real me, but in reality you have no idea.
See I can be sweet when I wanna be and a bitch when I gotta be.
I make Satan tremble at the sound of my name.
He wants a soul that's been gone forever.
My heart is colder than ice and darker then the night sky without the stars.
I tried to hide this side of me because I don't like the person it makes me.
But now its time to bring back the old me.
F*ck your feelings I don't give two fucks no more.
You thought I was heartless before?
Well let me just show you how heartless I really am.
So buckle up bitch and listen because I'mma say this one time.
You couldn't handle half of what I went or go through.
You wouldn't make it in my shoes.
You think your cute, you think your funny, but we both know your not.
Your nothing, but a wanna be trying to fit in where you don't belong.
Actin' all that like you know somethin'.
Bitch, you don't know shit so sit ya ass down and keep my name outcha mouth.
Because I promise you, you don't want these hands.

About this poem

It’s something I wrote when I was in a rough part of my life when I was younger.
