Not Meant To Be Forever

I'm not meant to be forever,
But for times of need,
only meant to plant
a sowing seed,
The ones I love they come and go, Like a spring that pass with leaves to grow,
My purpose is simply that
To bear, the pain of burden and their despair.
They fall from grace
and the loneliness
 their souls embrace.
Like A torch in the dark
I help guide them through, Like a chapter in a book I turn the pages for you. Some are born for greatness, others to leave a mark. My only purpose is to help the hearts that fall apart and they wonder why I say I'm just for this moment,
The sadness in their voice
shows deep regret, and they understand why we
have met. Time will pass and they forget But I'm not forever on their journey, a glimpse of shadows in life's rush with all of the hurries. It's okay, it's just this way. Some never knowing why they exist but at least I know....
I'm not meant to be forever.

About this poem

I have learned in life that people come and go a lot. I used to feel like I was unlovable. I think i've learned that we all Serve some sort of Purpose. I have just learned my place in this world. We all have a part That we play, This poem explains My role in this life.
