Waiting for more springs to come.

Waiting for more springs to come.

I am repenting for the springs
Which I couldn't enjoy
as it came before my birth
and went away.

It came with the mesmerised flowers.
It came with the soothing songs of birds.
It came with the soft breeze
and helped to increse the pain of lovelorn hearts.

I am repenting for the springs
when I'll be not present
as they will come after my death.
Only my successors will enjoy it.

I am the witness of fifty springs.
Want to be the witness of another one score and ten
as spring is for me only for two months in a year
and rest is winter.

The thing to see in this is the clever writing. The person did not see the springs before and will not see it after. Is this to be lamented. The tone of the poem seems to indicate this. The choice of word here "repenting" is very interesting.
The conclusion is, "I'd better enjoy the spring for it does not last very lone and I am not getting any younger.
    Good Read!
