Music Appreciation

I have a love affair with music...
I love it in all its forms.
I love how it penetrates the human spirit
and transcends social norms.

The headbangers clash,
the Neo Soul groove,
the Old School Doo-Wop,
the rich thickness in the Blues...

I take it as it comes,
in a myriad of harmonies.
I accept it as it flaunts
otherworldly melodies.

I love A Cappella and Instrumental;
Techno, Rock, and Pop!
R&B, and Hip Hop,
Atmospheric,
nonstop...

I love the way voices become instruments;
pitches and octaves intertwine.
The rhythmic sway cadence carries away;
I love every sensation; it's so divine!!!

Music is in my heart beat,
traveling through the recesses of my mind.
Music, flowing all over me.
Music! Every day of my life.

I thank God for music!
It's the greatest expression beyond speech.
The motion of sound
transcending physical reach.
