Cotton candy

Cotton candy, that's you for me
Round and cuddly, I'd love you to be
As comfy as you seem, I also am around you
     If you're a flower, I am a buzzin' bee

I don't understand my feelings about you
     Neither you do
I don't know in what way, but I'll always love you

Yet I think about that time
The time you didn't want me around
God it hurt but it was my mistake, wasn't it?
And maybe I paid the price I was in debt with
     Your upsetting makes me mad
Like daggers reaching my heart
     You want someone gone?
Tell the name and I'll be your rogue
I'll pull the daggers out and stick it in their flesh
I'm no hero, yet you're someone I'll always protect

About this poem

Just a silly poem I wrote for a friend. I have to learned to not indebt myself with how others don't communicate and make you feel bad about yourself.
