The Lord is on His Throne

Richard Groff 1957 (Pottstown, Pa.)

The Lord is on his heavenly throne;
He observes the sons of men.
The Sovereign God is on his throne;
He examines them.

The righteous he examines;
But the wicked his soul hates!
Violent men are cast into hell;
Their judgment still awaits.

And for the righteous there is hope;
They will live to see his face!
And when their days on earth are done;
They will stand; not be disgraced!
