We Speak of Things

We speak of things that none can see
But in the depths of fantasy
We weave our words with magic art
To touch the chords of every heart

We seek the truth that lies beyond
The veil of time and space and bond
We soar above the mortal sphere
To catch a glimpse of something dear

We feel the pain that none can heal
But in the balm of song reveal
We pour our souls with tender grace
To share the woes of human race

We are the poets of the night
Who sing to you with all our might
We are the lovers of the light
Who shine for you with all our sight
