Alone

Wrapped in possessions
The day filled with lessons
Carried on the wings of cash
Injured mind to stillness of brick
I no longer dash
Just my vessel growing thick
Empty of the days tasks
Watered were the plants
Commedered was the tech'
Here on this busy world's phone
Yet I am fooled and all alone
So call to the angels for,
A plight trivial and small
Why can't I push away it all
As the pain killers tare down walls
They are simply rebuilt taller
When God's will meets my wills end
Why does it not break me
When is the distant light going to take me

    Yes. Loneliness will do this.
