Love for me

#Loveforme

Growing up as a child
No words of  love were spoken  out loud
So I thought, no love for me
No shopping sprees not even for my personal needs
No love for me
No hugging days
but I  can recall, when  hands were  raised
No  love for me
No discussion of the bird or the bees, but my heart had a desperate need
Older men  wld look at my innocence face
but it was only the  throb in their pants that ached
As I grew older
I continued to cry on  wolves shoulders
No love  for me
I had a few relationships, but it lead me back to the same script, no love for me
Looking at my black-eye and bruises
This had me  thinking, my life I could lose it
In pain I knew,  no love for me
I accepted a  man with a double life, he wanted fools, but not a wife.
Once again no  love for me
When I  think of the times I broke down and cried, God was there and never left my side
The Lord brought me through many storms protecting me from different forms.
The thoughts of no love for me
Is no longer, because  God’s  love has made me stronger
No more,  no love for  me
My Heavenly Father has set those thoughts free
