Unlike Those Others

Unlike Those Others

 I have searched for you
Throughout time and space
I can hear your voice
Yet can’t see your face

In a distant past
We had shared a life
Maybe even then
You were too my wife

Destiny is cruel
To those who are weak
It doesn’t pity
Those some may call meek

Though you give me strength
To weather the storm
You are my harbor
Your body’s my form

I know every curve
And crevice by heart
Many prefer cars
But you are my tart

How do I love thee
Can one count the ways
It’s you I think on
On cold winter days

You are the ember
That provides me hope
You’re my guiding light
Why would I need dope

What of Neruda
Keats or Robert Frost
And what of Thomas
Even Wilde was lost

I am not jealous
You’ve had many beaus
And you have let them
Lick and suck your toes

They have all loved you
In their special ways
Then there was Shakespeare
Who wrote you his plays

You’re a seductress
In a way you’re a whore
That’s why you’re special
It’s you I adore

When you stole my heart
I gave it to you
Oh must we have sex
if our love is true

When we’re together
Its love that we make
And I know its real
And it’s never fake

Poetry my love
Remember my name
Unlike those others
Who sought only fame

About this poem

I don’t know what in the hell inspired me to write this one…I’m not sure if it was boredom or starvation…I guess that there are times you just have to cook up an old fashioned meal that is so darned hard to find anywhere nowadays…Take it with a grain of salt for what it is worth…And JH&jk should still be in the penalty box…Not even scraps are served in the box…Buen Provecho mi Angel Bailera…Y si no te gusta este besito gris…Pos siempre podemos calar uno que consiste de una mezcla de un beso blanco y un beso negro que puedo calificar del un nuevo nombre de un besito gris…Una nunca sabe mi Shaki…Apenas sabe Dios y si ese día llega…Todavía no entiendo “Comino despacio” Apenas que me enseñas o me lo traduzcas…Tu sabrás…I don’t know if it’s true or not…But I heard a rumor long ago that Shaki’s IQ is 140…I guess stupid is as stupid does LP…
