æ paradox

My Life is a paradox
Heh, pair of Docks
Mitotis Redding, sitting
Watching the tides roll
Away.

Sitting on the Dock of the Bay,
   Like there's something wrong
With watching those blue waves
The white edges crest and peak
Before they kick my shins
Like the whole ocean is yellin'
Mad at me for my mistakes

But what of this Old Bay's
sins?
How many has it wiped away
from existence?

The water loves to project its feelings,
and as I peer into my own reflection,
I'm sure I see tears that are not mine,

How very blue it is to see the sea realize
it is doomed to watch all things live life,

only to be an undying mirror.
